What makes your college a great place to work?

President's Statement

As a labor market economist, I've studied work rewards for three decades and have learned they go far beyond one's hourly wage, salary, or benefits. At UR, we offer highly competitive salaries and generous benefits, but perhaps our greatest rewards are our employees' opportunities to engage, participate in our community, and support and inspire one another.

Employee Comment

Richmond has been an ideal place to teach for decades. Mutual support among faculty and staff was in so many ways, exceptional. A spirit of respect, caring and genuineness may have been qualities taken for granted, but they were real, and they were felt at all levels.
