While I have supervisors, I am given the flexibility to do my job as I see fit. The administration works closely with the faculty and there is a great deal of mutual respect and cooperation.
President's Statement
Our faculty and staff provide a transformational education to students from a very impoverished area without a cadre of graduate assistants or an abundance of resources. They are equally adept at compiling impressive research portfolios and contributing to the viability of the region. During COVID-19, their work intensified, because so many of our constituencies needed greater support. This faculty and staff continually inspire our trustees and administration by reminding us that shared governance works even better in the most challenging of times.
