President's Statement
Our faculty and staff care. My experience as a relatively new president of Dalton State is that our faculty and staff care deeply about our students and about each other. This shows up in multiple ways whether it means reaching out to someone who is suffering through a difficult time or personally walking a student to our enrollment services for help with a financial aid question. The level of caring is "felt" on our campus.
Employee Comment
My supervisor is always open to hearing new ideas, trying new things, and understands that the campus climate is changing. They trust us to lead changes and initiatives that will help us keep up with trends. I feel supported by my supervisor and office, and if not for them, my answers here would be quite different. I have the freedom to dream big and am not micromanaged. Again, my supervisor and office are most of what drives the positive feedback in this survey.
