I most appreciate the friendly and welcoming atmosphere that starts at the top with the President and VPs. I've noticed that the VPs make a point to learn my name and always acknowledge me. There is good cooperation throughout the college. There is excellent communication. There are frequent campus wide "assemblies" to keep all informed. All are encouraged to participate in campus governance. There is never a doubt of the importance of our mission and our students.

In every aspect of our interactions with the public, through the programs, courses and services we offer, our faculty and staff understand that the impact of their work results in greater opportunities for each and every person they encounter. As President, I am in awe of the transformative power of each employee's contribution to that inspiring mission.
