That it goes beyond just being an employee, it goes toward our work serving the university mission and community. We are able to further ourselves professionally and personally with the resources and opportunities the university allows us to participate in, and they encourage it; which make me feel humbled that my employer is looking out for its employees in the ever expanding world of knowledge and well-being.

President's Statement

The University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) is an exceptional institution because the people who form our community of faith and education make it so. This year posed many difficult challenges, from the pandemic to the Texas winter storm. Yet, even through the most trying times, our faculty and staff demonstrated their commitment to our university, our students and one another. With acts of service and ready support, each of our employees demonstrated what it is to live our Mission.
