The diversity of students, faculty, staff. FIU has a special culture; it is not like any other institution and it has the feeling of being part of a family. I appreciate the fact that there are opportunities for making a career at FIU and there are opportunities for advancing if you are good at your job. Also, there is a willingness to make things work and try to resolve issues (even by adapting current policy).

FIU is a public research university, focused on driving real talent and innovation within our university community, in our city and around the world. Every day, our Panther family uplifts and accelerates our students, faculty and staff to achieve success, and provides our community with a solutions center for the most pressing issues of our day.
